Giving cupcakes to anyone who helps me with my essays! :)

...just kidding

False advertising

BUT NOW THAT YOU'RE HERE (-blackmail-) I'd really love it if someone (the more the merrier) would read some of my essays.

I had a fantastic time writing them, and I love them, but I showed them to one of my teachers and he said that they were lacking in so many areas...which kind of crushed me a little. He says he's an expert at all things college-admissions but I don't want to have to rewrite all my essays because of just his opinion.

I wanted to be quirky and different in all my essays, but I suppose I may have gone overboard in some...and almost cliche in others.

So far, I've written:

1) Common App: [Topic of your choice]
2) Stanford: [What matters to you, why?]
3) Stanford: [Intellectual Vitality]
4) Stanford: [Roommate letter]
5) UC Schools: [My World]
6) Common App: [Extracurricular SA]

I'll literally give you a dozen virtual cupcakes if you were willing to help a desperate international student get into college! :)

I'm not entirely sure how this whole peer-editing works - PM's or email? D: - but I'll definitely return the favor.

I’ll give it a shot. I’m interested to know what you wrote about :O

@JordanB95 Omg now I’m kinda nervous. Way to put on the pressure Jordan D:

Haha, don’t worry about it. I’m pretty critical and ocd, so I’ll pick somethings up that others might not. Personally, I wrote a pretty good essay about the weirdest of topics. With your EC’s and grades, I’m sure your essays are stellar. Also, as long as you like your essay and it is in good taste and has the correct mechanics, I think there isn’t much to worry about. Want me to PM you my email? Its easiest to reach me that way because my blackberry is always with me and I get my emails instantly.

PM me. I will be happy to give feedback.
