I'm looking to transfer to the school of engineering and my intended major is cs.

HS GPA: 3.61
I had a bad sophomore year but between junior and senior year I took 7 ap classes with mostly A/A-, few B's. They included phy c, bc, chem, comp sci, Lang, apush.

SAT: 2210
Math 2: 750

Overall, my cumulative GPA and class rank were not good and average test scores did not help. At Gmu my first semester schedule will be Calc 3, chem 212, intro to engineering, elective. If I get a competitive GPA, is it worth it to even apply even with a lackluster hs record? Are hs grades considered for a junior transfer? Also is my schedule rigorous enough?
