Go for the higher SAT?

Hey guys, I didn't really want to post this but I'm getting a bit uneasy about myself. The question is whether or not I should retake my SAT. Right now I've got a mid 2000 SAT score. However, I also have a 35 on the ACT. Is it really worth my time to study and retake the SAT? (At least for schools that don't offer score choice).

Thanks for the help guys.

Probably not worth the $50, particularly because you have a 35 on the ACT. That’s just my opinion though…

Yeah, my advice would be to just send the ACT score :).
Great job, btw!

Ya, it’s just at some colleges, score choice isn’t an option and I was worried the SAT score may bring me down. Looking at those chance threads with people having high ACT scores and low SAT scores being told to raise their SAT score doesn’t really help either. But thanks guys!
And rspence, that was a pretty cool article. Might reference that in the future haha.

What school doesn’t allow you to send only your ACT?

Most, if not all schools, allow you to sen only your act. The thing is in that case you can’t send in your SAT subject scores. Schools that don’t allow score choice, like most ivies and other top shools, when accepting sat scores (reasoning or subject), require you to send ALL your sat scores. That’s the issue.
