I go to a school that focuses heavily on science and math, but I can't see myself doing that in the future. I really want to be a filmmaker, and NYU Tisch seems to have everything that I would want. I have really good academics and all, but not much if any things to do with film. I'm taking film study in my senior year (the only film course offered in my HS), but that's about it. I'm working on a short film and my portfolio, but I'm not sure of my chances.

Also, are there schools that offer good film programs and are great school overall that I would probably have a better change of getting into? I'm very interested in double-majoring in film and possibly finance or something else.

Here's my academics if it helps.

Freshman year: French 2, Bio, Design & Tech, English 9, Computer Science, Algebra 2, PE (All A's).
Sophomore year: AP Biology, World History, Chemistry, French 3, Pre-calculus, English 10, PE (B+ in french 3, A's in the rest).
Junior year: AP Chemistry, AP Psychology, AP BC Calculus, AP Comp Sci, AP US History, English 11, Physics. (Most likely going to finish with straight A's).
GPA: 4.5 after junior year (honors give a .5 boost, AP's give a 1 point boost)

SAT: 2360 (760 in reading). Subject tests: 800 in Bio, taking Chem and Math II in June.

Senior year I'm planning on taking: AP English Lang, AP US Gov, AP Statistics, and film study among other courses. I'm also probably going to self-study for the AP tests for macro and micro.

As you can see, lots of science because that's what gets taught here. I get good grades, but I'm not particularly interested in the subjects and I don't spend too much time studying. I spend the rest of my time learning about film, which is one of the few passions that I've found in high school. So, I probably have good enough credentials to get into a top university, but what are my chances of getting into NYU Tisch?
