With dead week coming up, I'm planning on probably going home, because I live pretty close to berkeley. I was wondering, is this an okay thing to do? Do a lot of people do this? I think it'll be nice to study from the comfort of home. I'm aware that there might be study sessions on campus, but I've been to the ones before my midterms, and I didn't find them too helpful.

Why not? No rules saying you can’t ;)

All right, that’s cool! I just wanted to make sure that I’m not missing out on anything important :P

I started doing this last year, it’s nice. Most of the time, study sessions aren’t worth it at all for me. The only thing I might watch out for is rescheduled discussion sections. There was an email sent out stating that due to the fireball/whatever campus catastrophe, some cancelled sections may be rescheduled during dead week.

If you’re not in that boat, go home! :)
