Going over the word minimum for the extracurricular elaboration?

I’m applying to Loyola University Maryland, and one of the questions on the Common App is to elaborate on one of your extracurricular activities/work experiences. There is no specific word limit that I can see. The only thing was that when I started typing it continuously said “50 word minimum”.

Right now, I have over 150 words but less than 200 typed. Of course I am going to trim in down a bit but is it okay to write over 50 words if no maximum is stated? If so, where should I draw the line?

I personally would say if they don’t state a maximum, between 50-200 words is alright.
Most other extracurricular activities essays set a maximum of 150 words.
