Going to be college freshman... need advices for supplies.

So i'm thinkin:
-Laptop Computer

-A bunch of spiraled notebooks and a fancy University of Washington Medallion Legal Pad

-Tough and rugged backpack that won't rip like the one i have right now

-Engineering calculator (like TI-94 or whatever?)

-textbooks (ofcourse)

-Mechanical Pencil with cushy grips so that my fingers won't start having blisters after over-night studying sessions with pre-med buddies

-Stationaries (pen, eraser, blah blah blah)

Do i need anything else? Although laptops aren't required, my parents promised to buy me one if i get into the university of washington's tough a$$ Honors Program. i made it in, so i don't have to spend my own precious money$$$ to get my first laptop. WOOHOO. SCORE ONE FOR JAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're overpreparing. Get the laptop. The rest is at the bookstore.. on campus, after you arrive.

haha you do realize you have like three months before orientation?

but yeah, get the laptop. though you might want to check if you can get it through your college, cause they offer discounts and service.
