i'm going to visit cornell soon. anything special i should see or do while i'm there??

This sounds totally lame, but here goes: the library tour. Seriously, they're amazing, they're half the reason I decided to go there.

I'm touring in October, but I will literally have only a few hours to see everything. (I'm doing Binghamton and Wells the same day.) The campus is massive, so I really need to figure out which buildings to definitely see in advance. I know the liberal arts buildings will be a must, and I do want to see the library and some dorms, but I have no clue beyond that.

To what school will you be applying? I found that the Arts & Sciences session I checked out during Cornell Days, held by a dean rather than a student, was wayy more informative than the campus tour I took. It might be worthwhile to see if your school offers a more specific tour/discussion.

Arts & Sciences. I'm definitely doing a college-specific session instead of a university-wide one. I'm just wondering about which facilities in particular to check out. Any recommendations?
