Does anyone know how tough it is to get into Goizueta? I'm pretty set that I want to do business when I go to school. At the same time, if I went to Emory, and I didn't get into Goizueta, I'm not sure what I would do. Anyone know what the deal is there?

A senior in the b-school told me that if you have a 3.0 and some ecs then you’re fine

I think the gpa has gone up from a ~3.0 several years ago to a 3.2+ (at least that’s what I interpreted from a tour in 2006 and a tour last month).

P.S. Accounting 1 can be both boring and dry. It may be worth taking at a local juco this summer. You can always repeat the course at Emory, but the juco would emphasize practical applications while Emory will add in (and test on) theoretical accounting concepts.

you don’t apply to the business school until spring of your sophmore year, and from what I’ve heard, if you’re in good academic standing then you will pretty much get in.
