bigredmed- agreed-- and your posts are not as mis as others however dare I point out this is not a locker room, nor is it just the guys hanging out -- this is cc and there are women here. furthermore stating that 99% of women will accuse men of rape etc is hardly locker room banter and concerning from such an "educated and intelligent group".

congrats on getting thru your first 3 yrs --- oh you may have exactly what it takes to get there--"graduate med school" I was referring to getting to having a respected career as a physician. good luck

Lindz - You're right, CC is not a locker room or a fraternity house and there are women who are reading this site. As such, the posts that have been made so far, are no where near the level of those more exclusively male venues. That's why I said this:

From HS locker rooms to the basements of fraternity houses on up to the OR at any hospital in any town in the US, you'll hear a LOT worse than this.

Why not start a 'Singles Club' at your own med school? The pre-req for membership could be that only med school students or other doctoral track students may participate?
This way, you will meet people that are as motivated as you are. No need to worry about any "gold diggers" if all of you participating in the club are career oriented!

Best place to meet singles without a doubt, is your school. Once you graduate and begin working, there are all kinds of conflicts that come in to play... So, even if you like someone at work, you will likely not date due to these conflicts.

quote--lethargytm, a pre nup could be contested with a false accusation of domestic violence or rape which most women these days will use to their advnatge (99% of western women are this evil and vindictive).

I do live in the real world---just think when I see sexist and racist commentary I find it amazing that it is simply accepted. sorry just because it exists in the "real world" does not make it acceptable. good luck to you all
