<p>I submitted my Golden Gopher application(nofee,scholarship consideration) on Sep. 2, and because my school is weird, UMinn had all of my stuff on Oct. 4th. My application status still says:
"All of your required application materials have been received. Thank you! Students whose complete applications are submitted by the priority deadline will receive their decisions by the end of February. Students whose complete applications are submitted after the priority deadline are considered on a space-available basis beginning in March."
is anyone else having this same issue? does anyone know why? its really worrying me so any advice would be helpful!</p>

<p>I believe that is the message everyone sees after they submit their application. It will eventually change to the “carefully considering” application and then to your decision. If your stats are closer to the lower end of the college you applied to your decision will probably take longer. The U gets a lot of applications and fills up on a rolling basis so they tend to fill up spots with the top applicants first, and waits to make decisions on others until they have all of the priority applications in (Dec. 16th).</p>

You can compare your stats to the link above. If you are below those for your school, your decision probably won’t come as quickly. If your stats are similar or above, I would expect a decision any day now.</p>
