I'm going to be an engineer and these are both top of the line. I've gotten accepted to both and am still undecided. I want a school with strong academics and a great engineering program. Gonzaga has offered my their highest academic scholarship so the final offers for both are within 2 thousand dollars a year from each other. Price is not a factor as well as location. I dont mind if it has parties but i wont participate. I'm just looking for the best college to get me a good job with a good company in Washington. I will not base my decision on this but i would like to hear opinions. Thanks for your time and have a great day.

as far as college admission rates, UW is much harder to get into than Gonzaga - their school of engineering is very highly rated and had a seriously HUGE amount of money coming in for research projects plus is centrally located to Google, Microsoft, Boeing, Amazon.com, among many others…

if your goal is to locate the best spring-board to work after college, UW has many unfair advantages. Its sheer size of its engineering department alone is quite a bit bigger than the entire Gonzaga student population, which may provide many more professional connections opportunities.

That said, bigger is not always better as some students feel lost in the big lecture halls. If you have the ability to self-advocate, UW is by far a winner in this comparison. If you tend to shuffle to the back of the crowd while others are self-advocating, a smaller school experience may be beneficial…

good luck!
