Good Art schools that aren't just art schools?

I love to paint as well as film, but I couldn't really see myself at an art school (RISD, MICA, etc) just because I'm sort of a "jocky surfer" haha, as well as not really loving the idea of not being able to switch to a liberal arts major if I decided to somehow.

While I see the interest in these schools for most people, I'd rather a more traditional college experience with frats, sororities, etc.

Anyone have any suggestions for private schools or smaller public schools with good art programs that are fairly easy to get admitted too?

dpc: Don't know what geographic area you are looking for, but in the NE a few to consider are Bard, Skidmore, CMU. They all have strong studio art programs, but are fairly competitive, especially CMU. SUNY New Paltz has an excellent studio art program as well, offering BFA, BS, and BA as well as MFA in all concentrations (although I don't think they have film), in a medium sized liberal arts school. It is also fairly competitive, more so for in state than OOS.
