Hey! I recently posted a thread for college suggestions, but I didn't really know what kind of major I wanted to do. After some soul searching and talking with friends, family, and GC I've decided that I'm interested in Econ or Polisci or some sort of school specific combo program related to the two. Any school suggestions that have good programs in those areas?

rollins college
butler university

WashU has a political economy program that combines the two. Its poli sci department is very strong, with an impressive range of course offerings. WashU is pretty selective though. How selective of schools are you looking for?

Williams has good departments in both political science and economics and offers a combined major in political economy. [Political Economy Program](http://political-economy.williams.edu/)

thanks ya’ll. I’m looking for pretty selective schools- definitely going to look into WashU

Michigan has a PPE program. It should be pretty good considering the University is strong in all three subjects.

[Program in Philosophy, Politics and Economics | University of Michigan](Philosophy, Politics and Economics | U-M LSA)

University of Rochester is one of only a handful of schools that is top 25 in both departments

Look at Holy Cross (MA) Economics Dept…

Lots of good LAC’s-Holy Cross offers Washington internships and has tremendous political alumni network. HC has 1 Senator, 4 Congressmen, 3 Supreme Court affiliations, Chris Matthews.
