I'm a minority who just came in the states for 7 yrs, therefore, my SATs score weren't very impressive, especially in the verbal part. For that reason, I'm looking for schools that put more emphasis on other things than SAT. Thanks in advance.

Middlebury, Bowdoin, Bates are three I know.

I don't know about Middlebury, but Bowdoin is very competitive, Bates is where I'm applying to. Thanks though.

So is connecticut COllege...

http://www.fairtest.org/univ/optional.htm

UBC - one of the best out there that doesn't require SAT scores. They look at your GPA though.

sarah lawrence college doesnt believe in SATs

UBC...that's Uni of British Columbia in Canada or another Uni in the U.S.?

Wheaton (Mass.) also.

Mount Holyoke, Holy Cross, Dickinson

Holy Cross and Bowdoin. Holy Cross has nice campus and is only 1 hour from Boston.

Pitzer College in Claremont. Great consortium.
