<p>I am an incoming EECS major taking classes over the summer. Since I will be in Soda Hall most of the time, what are some places for good food, that are cheap and won't kill you? Also, how much am I supposed to tip if I take take-out?</p>
<p>Go down the big hill about a block or two, and you’ll find plenty of options. There’s a little food court on Hearst (the road between Soda and campus) and Euclid (the street right after the little food court) has some more places.</p>
<p>Tipping… dunno.</p>
<p>There is now a Menchie’s frozen yogurt on Euclid!</p>
<p>I would go to Urbann Turbann (Indian burritos/bowls) and Bongo Burger (juicy ethnic burgers) right up from the corner of Hearst & Euclid. A meal at either place is about $8.</p>
<p>If you need cheap, the BSC’s Kingman and Hoyt halls are near Soda and serve food. For the entire summer:</p>
<p>Room and board: $2114 + 5 workshift hours/week
Food only: $260-$546 + 2-3 workshift hours/week</p>
<p>Room and board for a 6-week session is $1057 + 5 workshift hours/week.</p>
