Questions about meal pricing

Hey everyone! This question is for people who are at or used to go to Berkeley

How does meal pricing work? I understand that at the dining halls, it's brkfast 6 lunch 7 and dinner 8. But how about outside the dining commons? What would be the price of a typical sandwich or burrito?

I ask because I'm a big guy, and I definitely like to eat. However, we might get the 1500 points per semester plan (about 13 points a day) to because of budget. I plan to just eat breakfast like cereal or a bagel which I can do myself, but is 13 points to cover for lunch and dinner? If the dining commons dinner is 8 points, will 5 points be good for lunch?

Thanks for your help

you can’t use your meal points to get a burrito. You can get a sandwich for about 6-7 meal points. If I were you I would just get the 1500 meal point plan and have extra $ to eat out.
