Good Freshman year schedule? EC trouble...

Schedule:
Honors Geometry
Honors English
Honors World History
Honors Biology
Spanish 1 (I have always had an interest in Spanish. I love it. In middle school..you got one of your top 2 choices and mine were Spanish and Latin. Since Latin is less popular I was placed in it. I loved the culture and it was fun (A plus in 7th grade/A in 8th grade) but it is not a world-spoken language. I want to be able to skip Spanish 2 and I am self learning it and taking out of school tutoring during the school year...

I had to override a couple due to a point difference(Ex: I had an 89 and you needed a 90) I am not a big fan of this but I am willing to work hard and not let me future suffer for being an idiot in 8th grade

Also, my parents put a lot of pressure on me because they want me to do well (its not like i don't want the same thing ) I would like to get into a god college

Electives:
Elements of Theater
Management

EC troubles...
Okay so I'm trying out for the soccer team...(I am a pretty good defender/midfielder)
But I want to audition for the musical which is the same season...So that would mean soccer till 4 and the play rehearsal would be from 4:30- 8 maybe...okay this is assuming I get a part as well...I consider myself smart but not enough that I don't need to try so what should i do?

I was a freshman last year in almost all honors (same classes as you except for Honors Geometry) and got all of my work done in school. It’s all about time management - I did my homework while I was waiting for class to start between passing periods and during lunch, and rarely had to actually bring homework home. As long as you stay on top of your work I don’t think there’d be a problem with doing both soccer and the musical. Good luck!

You’re schedule looks good. The most competitive students at My school are in Algebra 2 freshman. I filled my lunch period up with clubs and Extracurriculars everyday and slowly eliminated the clubs I didn’t like throughout the year.

At my school you need a 97 in alg 1 to double up in alg 2 and geometry and if u just wanted to take one course you would have to take a test to skip geometry honors ant get at east an 87… I pretty good at math compared to my classmates but I don’t want to kill myself…:p…I know 3 people in my whole grade are doing both and one stresses over a 98 going to a 97…yup GENIUS… I’m more interested in science (anatomy/biology…)

bump…
