good idea to take AP WH if im taking ap euro?

Im currently taking AP European History in my school and my school does not offer AP World History.

Is it a good idea to independent study and take the AP Test for World History?

Would it be possible to get a 5 if i start indepenetent studying now?

how much would ap euro help on the ap world history exam?

I think that AP World History try to steer away from European and American themes. It is centered more around the Middle East, Asia, and South America, but I think you could self-study now if you are really dedicated!

Personally, I think it's kind of useless to take both. You should just take European History. All the schools that I've been looking into give a lower course number for WH than Euro. Which do you like better, WH or Euro?

Im taking European History course currently, and i thought i should just take the AP test for world history also.

European history = 30% of WH course. You would need to memorize the other 70%-but it is mainly themes and overall interactions in certain periods of time. The structure of the exam is similar to Euro, with essays mainly foucsing on comparisons and changes over time.

I'm taking both next year.
