I'm not too much of an expert on most of the schools you listed but I know Mizzou admissions well.

If you have a 24 or higher on the ACT(don't know the SAT conversion), then you'll get into Mizzou. Once your at Mizzou you'll need to have a 3.0 freshman year to go into J-school.

I was a B student and I believe I got into IU - Bloomington because my family is a legacy family. So I would think you have a reasonable chance there.

You should be in at Mizzou - great choice for J school.

in at iu, uconn, mizzou, and psu i think. Syracuse might be a reach and i know ohio u is selective (its my first choice). But I highly rec. Ohio U it is amazing ...

I disagree with Terri. PSU is a reach with that GPA.

I think you are in at OU, but Scripps will want a wonderful essay for that program.

Well, average HS GPA at Syracuse Newhouse (communications school) was a 3.9 this year, not sure if it was weighted or unweighted. If you don't get into Newhouse, you could always major in something else your freshman year and transfer into Newhouse from another Syracuse college. I know that this year at least if you had a 3.5 GPA from your first year at Syracuse you were pretty much guaranteed admission into Newhouse.

Thanks for the reply

I understand PSU and syracuse may be reaches but thanks for all the input

Anyone else have suggestions?

Thanks,

"I disagree with Terri. PSU is a reach with that GPA."

Yeah your right... i had no idea that psu journalism was more selective

Indiana University w/ B is an easy yes. Emerson in Boston w/ a B is possible.
