Good journalism transfer school?

I'm currently a print journalism (magazine, to be specific) major at St. John's University. Don't really like the classes and don't like commuting, and I want to have the experience of going away and living in another city. I was thinking about some SUNY schools like Stony Brook, Albany, or UBuffalo and Buffalo State. Also thinking about Boston University and Syracuse, but I don't know how good their journalism programs are. I'm also slightly thinking about USC as well, but I heard theyre not well known for their journalism program.
My average right now...I can't say. I'm getting 2 A's and possibly 3 C's, which I'm scared about, since I haven't even took my finals yet. I have a lot of Volunteer hours and extra-curricular activities.

Any suggestions on these schools?

Well, if you pump that GPA up a little I would suggest Medill at Northwestern.

Good luck!

Syracuse has an awesome journalism program! Have you thought about NYU?

You could also check out Brandeis University, has a small program with engaged faculty and good campus media options:
