I just got a call from my congressman today, and he said i was a principal nom for WP! I am so happy!

He said now I am pretty much in. My file has been completed and I was already fully qualified.

I'm still hoping for the acceptance itself, but either way I wanted to say thank you to all of the parents and knowledgable people on the forum. You have really eased my nerves the past months.

Congratulations! :D You'll just love the appointment when it arrives. Don't start staring at your mailbox until after New Year's, because Admissions is on vacation. :)

Thanks I'll need it. By the way, are you one of the guys that has videos on You Tube? Those are really good!

SteelaS,

Yeah sure I'll give you some basics

28 ACT
18/222 rank
4.0 GPA
NHS, DECA President, Church Group, 300+ hours community service, SLS Participant, varsity soccer captain, tennis, and a bunch of academic and extracirricular awards

Just ask if you want to know something really specific.
Good luck on your admission SteelaS, I saw some of your last posts.

I will apply in 2 years. And I need to start working harder, my past gpa was 2.3 and only because I didn't do the work, I never found the classes to be any difficult.
If I get atleast a 3.6 next semester do you think that will take out my first semester grade?

Unfortunately, you can't change the past, only the present and future.

I think if you keep up the work ethic and attitude and get a good gpa first semester, you should be okay. Do well on ACT / SAT, take it more than once if necessary.

It's good you got APs and honors; it reflects on your work ethic.

Make sure you get into ecs and sports and all that jazz too; nothing will help you more than well-roundedness and leadership positions.
