Better Late then Never :)

My Congresswoman called my house today, and congratulated me for my appointment to West Point. I am Sooooooooooooooo Happy!! Time to bust my butt and get into shape for "Beast". SEE EVERBODY IN JUNE!!!

Congratulations!!! It's a marvelous accomplishment for you and great news that more appointments are going out. Don't hurt yourself before 6/27 :-)

That's great news !!! You should take great pride in receiving the appointment.

From your note, I am assuming you are accepting the appointment. Thank you for making the commitment to serve our country and to become a leader within the finest military in the world. God bless you and your family.

I understand that regular admission appointments are assigned on a rolling basis. If any of you fine candidates would, post the month that you completed your files in and when you received your appointment. I'm curious because I'm still waiting for notification. Thanks everyone!

I completed my application process a little before MArch 1 , which was my deadline... I thought i had completed it earlier but i had to go to my orthodontist and get a signed letter stating that my braces would be off before 6/27.

daughter's file completed in mid Sept, appointment letter was dated December 19. Good Luck!

My daughter's file was completed around 12/20. The appointment was received in the mail on 1/14. She did not have an LOA and we did not receive a heads-up call from anyone. It was a total surprise to receive it so early.

My file was completed as soon as my guidance counselor sent in my second semester transcript (I had had everything else done before that) on 01/20. I received my appointment April 2nd. No LOA, I got a heads up call the previous Thursday before I received my folder.

I had everything in by late December. I got my Appointment on January 29th. No phone call though!

I believe I finished all of the applications in early December or late November (been a while; hard to remember). However, since I had some medical issues, I wasn't triple Q'd until late March. Once that was cleared up, it took about two weeks for my appointment to come in the mail. I had an LOA. Wish you the best!
