Good pre-med programs that are not at top 25 schools

Could people please list schools with good med school acceptance rates and good programs that are not top 25 schools, my major is political science so obviously they would also need to have a strong polisci program also.

Thanks for your help.

tufts, case, and rochester are schools that immediately come to mind as having strong premed reps, dunno about their poli sci departments, keep in mind there's a sticky thread devoted to this topic

A couple of recommendations for schools in Pennsylvania: 1) Washington and Jefferson (south of Pittsburgh) has a very high acceptance rate among its students who get into medical/dental/veterinary schools. 2) Juniata College in Huntington (central Pennsylvania) has a very well respected pre med program. 3) Ursinus College (near Philadelphia) also has a well respected science/pre med program. 4) Allegheny College (between Pittsburgh and Cleveland) equally good program. 5) also Gettysburg College.

I would just like to clarify, i am at a state school now and am looking to transfer to one of these, and I AM aware that their is a sticky dedicated to this, I looked there, only to find that there was 1 post in the entire thing, and i acually was looking for an answer to the question, so i posted here instead.

Thanks to those who posted btw

actually the sticky thread is s good 7 pages long, so people do indeed look at it and comment on it (note I did in fact give you a response in addition to that comment, so I think the attitude is a little unnecessary)

I suggest you read the sticky thread. If you got the point of it, you wouldn't be asking this question that always pops up on this board.

Yea sorry guys, I was looking at the wrong thread, I was looking in the Specific Med Schools thread, not the one about Pre-med colleges.
