Good school matches

I’m a rising junior who currently lives in Georgia but I will be attending a Texas high school my senior year. I would like to attend a school close to Dallas or in Dallas but ones further away would be good too. I want to be a lawyer so a school associated with a good law school would be a plus.

I’ve taken two APs so far: WHAP (3) APHG (3) and plan to take 2-4 more next year.
I haven’t taken the SAT or ACT yet but received a 155 on my PSAT.
My GPA is currently a 2.8 but I’m trying for at least a 3.2 by the time I graduate.
I’m involved in tennis, reading bowl,art club,debate, and volunteer.

Definitely work on pulling up your GPA. You should do some specific studying for the PSAT and the SAT for your junior year. A general rule of thumb is that your SAT score will be about a factor of 10 higher than your PSAT score, so a 155 on the PSAT would be about a 1550 on the SAT. You should also look into taking a sample ACT. Some students do better on one test than the other and I think all colleges in the US take both of them now.
