Junior in high school wondering what college I should go to

Weighted GPA: 3.3
Un-weighted: 3.0
Class Rank: 299 of 549

Hello,
I am half way through my 1st semester of my junior year and was wondering what colleges y'all would recommend for me. Money is no problem and I am looking into majoring in law and going to law school, I really enjoy law. I have taken literally the hardest schedule possible at my school with all AP classes. I am a member of 3 clubs, I have had summer jobs, I haven't taken any sports. My GPA and class rank might not be the best, but I sure as hell challenged my self taking the hardest classes I can take. I am looking into TCU and Baylor, but open to other suggestions. Thank you for any help and tips.

TCU and Baylor would be fine choices, if expensive since they are private.

Think about nearby UT and A&M branches (where do you live?), too. Some of the UT branches are pretty great, like UTSA, which is now much much more than the commuter campus it once was. It has a football team and dorms now. Texas Tech?

I live by Fort Worth near TCU. I was thinking about UT branches aswell, by going to a branch of UT would it make it easier to transfer into UT at Austin? I really would love to transfer there, I have family there and the city is amazing. I’m sure I can get my self together in college to be able to get in. I have heard great things about their law school. I’m not really interested in Texas Tech.

EDIT: I have been looking at SMU is it better than Baylor or TCU? Do you think I have good chances of getting in?

Do you have any test scores yet? Even a PSAT?
Looking at the common data sets for these schools, Baylor and TCU are easier to get in to. (You can view them by googling “common data set” and the school’s name)
CAP is in a state of flux, so I would check out what the rules are for next year. I don’t think UT Dallas is a CAP school, but UT Arlington might still be.

Do you like any of the smaller schools in the Austin area, like Georgetown or St Edwards? Or do you like smaller schools at all? Like Austin College (not in Austin)?

UH or Texas Tech
