Good school selections ?

I am currently applying to Choate, Andover, Loomis, Hotchkiss, Exeter, Blair, Suffield, Northfield Mount Hermon, Brooks, Lawrenceville and Taft.

Do you believe I have a good selection of schools in regards to Acceptances (Saftey and Selective schools). I have currently went on half of my interviews and I should be done by January 10th (I already went to Choate so I'm not worried by the deadline)

My applications are almost finished and I took the SSAT in December, I definitely don't feel confident about how my scores are going to turn out but I talked to a few admission officers about this and they informed me that it's only one but strong part of the application , so I may retake it in January ( My last chance).

A little information on me : I'm an African American eight grade , straight A's student. I go to a small parochial school with limited education oppurtunties. I play volleyball (beginner), volunteer at my local church for community service and play the guitar (Advance). I also attended a Five Week summer program at Suffield Academy. I come from a single household and will be applying for financial Aid. I was elected for Yearbook President and I participate in my school's speech contest every year(I Placed first or second place all three times). I also do a couple of other EC'S but the ones I listed are the strongest.

Am I a good candidate for the schools I listed ? (Sorry for the poor grammar and long paragraphs).

Endthestars, that’s a lot of essays! Are you looking for a big/small school? Urban/rural? Harkness method/traditional? What classes are you currently taking? Do you feel confident about your recommendations? What do you feel is your strongest attribute? Are you asking for Financial Aid? Can you give us some more information about what you are looking for in a school? Maybe that will help.
