Good Schools for majoring in business or finance

What schools have a good business or finance major, and are known for securing good jobs after graduation or at getting you into a good business program. All suggestions welcome, especially non-ivy schools! Thanks

Honestly, you’re being way too vague. When you say non-Ivy schools, are we talking about schools just a notch below the “Ivy level,” schools academically equivalent to the Ivy League but aren’t in it, or schools that are nowhere near Ivy level?

Also, most good schools have either a business major or a finance major and a proven track record of graduates getting jobs. What you’re looking for in terms of social scene would be a better way to narrow things down.

Kat, some very good business schools are Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Emory, UGA and Maryland.

Thank poi!

I think Michigan and maybe Emory are the only ones out of those that would be in most people’s top 6…

NYU (stern), UC Berkeley (haas), UVA, Michigan.

You can research undergraduate business programs here [Undergraduate Business Programs - BusinessWeek](http://www.businessweek.com/bschools/undergraduate/)

Also, one word of caution: you can definitely get into the business world without having a major in business.

That’s my way of saying you might want to consider doing a real major instead.
