Good score on SAT for internationals

What does a good score on SAT mean for international students who aren't native English-speakers? I'm especially curious about Ivy League and other top schools. Do they look at Writing section if an applicant has good TOEFL scores?

Yes they do look at your writing score even if you got a great score on TOEFL. Selective colleges, they treat international students almost as other Americans since most of the applicants are quite qualified. The average TOEFL score for YALE for example, was between 275-285. I've heard the score of 283 is top 5% or somethin', which tells you everything.

Just think there are no such things as advantages for international students, and I encourage you to work hard on your verbal/writing section if you have found them difficult according to not having English as your first language.

Good Luck

Thanks,
so far even if my verbal scores are not bad, they are mainly 'educated' guesses. :)
