Hi,

Would really high SAT scores make up for unimpressive EC's for Cornell? My SATs and GPA are quite high but there's nothing special with my ECs. I am quite worried. Any opinions?

You're in one of two situations. 1) You aren't in any clubs yet but you could join one. So...join one. 2) You aren't in any clubs and for whatever reason joining one at this point is impossible. So...there's nothing you can do about it; stop worrying about your lack of ECs and think about how you can best accentuate your other qualities.

depends on college...need to show some non-gpa/score depth for arts more than cals, for example.

Food for though: EC's are what get you into a top college, coz they have tons of applicants with top scores.

You do the math now.
