I got an e-mail from my regional representative person yesterday telling me that they were impressed by the overall strength of my application and even quoted my essay. Do they do this for everyone, or is this their version of a likely letter?

From a regional representative who works in the admissions office? No, not everyone gets this treatment.

I received a similar e-mail from the Senior Associate Director of Admissions!!! :)

I got a similar email last year; however i was in contact with the rep during the admissions process.

ALSO, another way to (possibly) know if you're in:

-you'll get a letter from the office of financial aid asking you to turn in missing documents around march (eg. tax return forms, etc). if so, you're most likely in.

hey, I got that too! :-) I also got an email this week from the dean of the business school... is this promising news or something they do for all applicants?!
