I’m worried about second semester. I have not slacked off, I just chose classes that I’m inherently bad at (physics/french). As of now, I have 2 A’s (one is for being a TA) and the rest are B’s. I’m worried about getting a C in my physics honors class because I just get so confused at science. (It’s a B- right now). Academic GPA as of now is 3.2 and total for this semester is 3.3.

So, what is being in “good standing”?

Yeah, I’m in the same boat. I haven’t slacked off but things just start getting hectic with AP exams. Does anyone know how many people BU rescinds for admission on average?

Now, I’m a senior with you guys so I don’t know any definite answer. I would guess that you’d have to drop off pretty substantially to have admission recinded though. They don’t want to do that, and it really creates more work for them to fill the class and all. Soo, I definitely would think a bunch of Cs and below wouldn’t be good, but I REALLY doubt As and Bs are going to hurt you… Even one C as an average, I would say you’ll still be completely fine.

the only way they’d rescind your admission is if they accepted you having a 3.6 and you got like a 2.3 for a semester. everyone slacks a little bit so don’t worry as long as, like lauren said, you don’t have all c’s when you consistently has a’s and b’s.
