<p>Would summer programs like LEAD and LBW at Wharton or the Summer Law Institute at UCLA be considered prestigious/creditable?</p>

<p>It shows initiative on the part of the student, and some count for college credits. It's not worthy of being called a hook, but it is something worth having.</p>
