Good Undergraduate Business Schools

I am trying to make a big list for potential colleges. What are some of the top undergraduate business schools that are targets for Banks and other Fortune 500 companies. I know that there are alot of lists online but i cant seem to find one that is constant. Lets assume that i am an average student with good ECs ,a good GPA(4.0) and okay test scores( around 30 ACT) so the top schools would be a high reach but still a slight chance. I need a couple of high reaches, some matches, and some safeties ( preferably near NC area). What do u guys think?

UPenn, UT, MIT, Harvard, UChicago, Stanford, Northwestern, UCLA, USC, Berkeley

These are obviously some of the most prestigious business schools in the U.S. but very selective for business.

Harvard, Chicago, Stanford and UCLA do not have undergraduate business schools. With a 30 ACT and being a self described average student all the schools that @marie22 listed would be a high reach and most likely out or reach. You schools be looking at schools like Boston university as a match.

Here is a list showing rankings of undergrad b-schools. The exact ranking isn’t so important – mostly it can be helpful to get a sense of what grouping a school is in. http://poetsandquantsforundergrads.com/2014/07/01/2014-pq-ranking-of-the-best-undergraduate-business-programs/2/ You should take this list and do some legwork – can be done online, through college guide books, going over school’s common data set and on your HS Naviance to see what schools make sense for you.

You also need to pay close attention to what you want in a college (ex. size of school, location, religious affiliation or not, city/suburb/rural, Greek Life, big time sports etc.) as well as what your family can afford.

Babson college., Boston College etc

“near NC” UNC, Wake Forest, Elon, Emory, URichmond, UVA, Wm&Mary, VT, James Madison, GT, NC ST

In reference to replies #1 and #3, It is correct that UCLA does not have an undergraduate business school. However, UCLA offers a business economics major which is almost like a business school degree. The Big 4 accounting firm hire many UCLA business economic majors. Many of these students are able to become CPAs. Many large corporations and businesses also hire UCLA business economic students.

@TomSrOfBoston I read on Harvard’s website that you could take business classes as an undergrad student but you’d get graduate credit for that… or at least that’s what I understood from what was written.

^^You misread that.
