Goodbye gift for sister leaving for college?

<p>My sister's leaving for college in two weeks and I want to make her a small gift, since she can't take much with her. She doesn't like emotional stuff, such as a tearjerking letter or a scrapbook, but I don't want to give her money because she worked over the summer and can earn money on her own. I can't think of anything meaningful to give her without it being too sentimental. </p>

<p>Please give me some ideas of a gift (preferably something I can make), or if you gave someone a goodbye gift, what it was. Thanks!</p>

<p>My sister just left for college too. I’m buying her some stuff I know she wants for college (practical things) and made her a photo collage (this might fall into the sentimental, corny category though) of our family :)</p>

<p>Find a funny old picture of the both of you (or maybe your whole family) and put it in a frame, that way she’ll have something to remind her of you but it’s funny.</p>
