Goodbye...?

After much debate, I finally chose UCLA instead of Pomona, primarily because I realized I liked the big university feel better.

So, this is me bidding goodbye to all you folks on this board, but I do have one last question... How do I officially bid goodbye to the school? I couldn't find any place on the POmona website or in the acceptance package where I could decline their offer. Do I just not do anything until past May 1, and they just assume that I declined their offer? Or is there an actual place where I can reply?

You can e-mail either the Admissions Office admissions@pomona.edu or Bruce Poch, the Dean of Admissions, bruce.poch@pomona.edu. I'm sure they would appreciate your letting them know how difficult the decision was for you.

Have fun at UCLA! S has truly enjoyed his four years there.

in the admissions packet, there's an envelope. if you open the top flap, there's a place where you can check whether you will be attending or not. its on the actual envelope.

Thanks a lot!

Haha, quite opposite for me. I was making the same exact choice and i ended up choosing Pomona becuase i liked the small feel. For a while I thought it might feel too small then I realized UCLA felt way too big. Good luck at UCLA. If i hadn't gotten into Pomona i'd be at UCLA for sure. Best UC in my opinion
