Hey prospective Nooglers. I was an Intern last year and I didn’t get contacted by them until mid May. I already had classes and a job lined up, haha. So who knows, keep the faith.

Good luck everyone.

P.S. there were a lot of non URM’s in my intern class.
P.S.S. Typically people have two phone interviews and then one in person interview. But circumstances can alter this (I only had one 30 min interview).

I don’t want to confuse anybody with this post; I’m not selling anything. I’m a student who applied, and I’m still waiting to hear back myself. However, I go to Michigan, so I live in Ann Arbor, and I know some of you will end up here. Like many of you, I get emails from a ton of people, orgs, businesses, whatever, and I got one the other day that I thought would be right up y’alls alley.

Normally I would never suggest this place to anybody because its usually $1000+ per month, and even for A^2 that’s up there. However, if you’re coming here for the Summer, and looking for a place to stay, Landmark sent out an email last week advertising Summer rooms for $529 a month… Let me stress to you… You’re not going to find anything much cheaper than that, and certainly not as nice. Landlords here are tyrants, and all the rich kids have mommy and daddy’s money so they pay, it reinforces the system… you get the idea. Anyway, Landmark (www.liveatlandmark.com) is like a luxury lofts sort of thing. If I had money to blow on it I’d live there, but for $529 a month its definitely worth checking out.

I just thought I’d share that. Again, I’m not a rep or anything. There are other similar properties that may have deals, too. Landmark is just new, so I figure that’s why they’re doing this. I’d suggest looking into Zaragon and Sterling Lofts also. If I’m not mistaken, Google recently moved up to the North Side of town… there are a few places there, too, but I think they only lease yearly. Anyways, If you want to know anything else about A^2, let me know.

Hey jabracaglia! I have an interview for financial planning & analysis next week and i’m really nervous =( What type of questions did they ask? I heard the questions are really hard for that department

Just got an offer! Very excited! I am wondering whether to take Company Housing or take the money and find my own apartment. Any insight from past interns?!?

I am also with Ironmen201, about whether to accept their housing or find my own place with the relocation bonus. I feel that the provided housing it too good to pass up though, and it would be so much more convenient for travel/moving/finding housing (which is one of my biggest concerns). So I feel that I am going to accept the offered housing.

But I also am interested in hearing past interns experiences and what they would suggest!

Hi guys! I’m applying to google this year and was wondering if any of you guys could give me some tips for the application? What kind of things are they specifically looking for? What will help me? Thank you guys so much for the help!!
