Google BOLD Internship 2013

I had just assumed I was denied because I have not heard anything back and I applied in mid-late November. Does anybody know if they are sending emails no matter what to inform applicants if they are moving on to the next interview or if they were not being accepted? Thanks everyone!

Ann Arbor… LOL!!!

I applied for the PQO (product quality operations) team and just had my two phone interviews on Tuesday. I can’t wait to hear back! Waiting is super stressful. :/

Hi klaudia,

do you know if there are usually additional interviews after those two interviews? Also, does PQO require coding? I’m really confused about why they decided to assign me PQO interviews!

I think they just make you an offer (about 2 weeks after your phone interview). That’s the impression I got from this thread. There could be coding involved as a PQO intern but I think it’s only if it’s already part of your skill set.

anyone else apply/ hear back from the financial planning and analysis team? I interviewed 2.5 weeks ago, but am yet to hear back.

Unfortunately have another offer due Tuesday as well, not sure what to do as I really want to be a Googler!

I just got a call saying that I got an offer for an internship with PQO in Mountain View. My interviews were on Monday, so this is less than a week later. I’m very excited!!

Good Luck to everyone else!!

Hi guys!

I’m new to this site and I applied for the BOLD internship in November. I interviewed last week for the Global Customer Services Dept. and got an offer today for Mountain View! If anyone else is going to be there over the summer and is as excited as I am… lets exchange emails!!
woooooo

Nice to see people’s offers roll in. A friend of mine at school just received their’s.

I still have yet to hear anything and I’m starting to get really anxious. I have some competing offers not due for a little while, but at this rate, I’m bound to have another birthday before I hear back from them ha

For the people who got an offer, what year are you guys in?

livingadream, what type of questions did they ask you for PQO? I have an interview with them coming and since you get the offer it’d be nice if you could help me out!

I’m A Junior at the University of Oregon!

grrrrrr waiting. all of my posts on this thread have just been evidence of my impatience. nice to have some company though :D

Spencerrlicious–

Did your location change at all from your first email to where you are being located to for the job? Or was your confrimation email always for Mountain View?

I am just curious, because I did not list Ann Arbor as any of my choices. I go to school in Chicago, so that would be much more convenient, and I have family in San Francisico. I was wondering if there would be the possibility for it to change? If offered, I would be a fool to turn down a job with Google and would try to make it work, but going to Ann Arbor would be very inconvenient.

Since you are a Student at UofO, it would make sense that you got the MTV location, seeing that you are on the West Coast. And since I am in the midwest, I guess I can see how Ann Arbor got worked in, but not really sure why Chicago wasn’t offered; too competitive, I guess.

I don’t even know why I am complaining! XD I should be grateful for this opportunity.

hey everyone, i’m new to this thread, but have been following closely for a while now.

i had my two phone interviews with people ops about a month ago. i emailed my recruiter on friday asking if i’d be notified of a decision regardless of the outcome and she got back to me today saying she should have “a final update” for me this friday. Not sure what that means or if I should be worried it’s taken this long to hear anything. Is this a bad sign? has anyone else heard of others who’ve interviewed with people ops and received offers soon after? i want to stay positive, but at this point, i don’t know what to expect anymore.

anyone have any tips for what kind of questions they ask during the two 30-minute PQO interviews? much appreciated!

I forgot what I put as my three top choices but I do know that my offer had always been mountain view. It never changed! I’m not sure if you can change location. I think it’s pretty specific based upon how many they are recruiting at that specific location although I’m not positive. I would ask your recruiter

It’s been 15 days since my 2 phone interviews for the Marketing team, and I have yet to receive contact (call or email) from my recruiter. Is this a good or bad sign?

Maybe they’re busy from all the I/O madness?

It’s been 4 months since I submitted my application and I have yet to receive any contact at all. I think it’s safe to say patience is key among this thread.

Hey all,

Received my offer today for financial planning & analysis at the mountain view campus!! Looking forward to seeing many of you there!

I interviewed about 3 weeks ago.
