Do they tell you if you didn’t receive the scholarship? And also, are people still receiving calls for the scholarship?
@nethergirl In my family, we are really hoping to learn the outcome sometime soon! Eventually, each applicant will learn his/her fate. My understanding is that the scholarship winners are notified first, by phone call and follow-up email. Nobody knows for sure if all the scholarship recipients have been notified - my best count is that there are only two winners on this thread. It’s great that they shared their great news - it is fun to hear their great news!
Then, probably Google will notify those who got accepted to CSSI - HOPEFULLY this CSSI group includes some who applied BOTH for the scholarship and CSSI but did not get the scholarship. Fingers crossed in my family!
From previous years’ threads - they DO seem to notify the unluckies fairly quickly after notifying the winners. It seems like, last year, by very early in May, everybody knew the results. Of course, it is super tough to wait, now that some have gotten phone calls. My daughter got a phone call last night from an unknown number in Minnesota and took a quick, smiling peek at me first, before answering. Yeah, she knew it couldn’t be Google because it was Saturday night but still…we all are waiting for news!

Every time my phone rang unexpectedly I had a fricking heart attack! It’s pretty funny cuz all my sibs know why I sprint for the phone :))
Anyway, I agree with you about the scholarships - I’m sure there will be plenty of people who apply for both and get in only to the camp. I feel that the scholarship is heavily need and community-activity based, if that makes sense.

Got a missed call today from Walnut Creek California (925 area code). I was wondering if anyone knew if this could be CSSI? They didn’t leave a voicemail and I have not received an email as yet.

I GOT THE SCHOLARSHIP! I got a call around 3:15 PM but my phone was not charged, so I received the news via email!
I will be going to the Cambridge, MA session! I STILL CANT BELIEVE IT.

@profdad2021 thanks! There are still a lot more decisions to come - it seems only cambridge has come out
@Dartmouth_21 Well, my kid’s shot was Cambridge so it is probably a no-go for her. Frankly, I’m still not convinced that her application ever was fully submitted. If that turns out to be the case, we will politely provide feedback down the road! On the positive side, glad that so many are getting good news.
does anyone know when we’ll hear if we’re NOT accepted into the CSSI program?
@buddy16 based on previous years, you get an email about it after all the accepted students get calls; I’m guessing end of April.
