Me and West (by the way, it was good to meet you) had two of ours today. We also found out that we are garaunteed a nomination from at least one of them (Apparently, our Congressman had 2 open slots, meaning he had 20 possible nominees. Fortunately, he only had 7 people appluing for those 20 slots.), so both of us should be recieving our appointments sometime in the near (maybe not so near, actually) future. My interview was extremely laid back and actually kinda fun, in fact, after they heard that I got an LOA, they didn't even ask me 1 question, they just talked about the Academy and funny stuff that has happened to them there.

My congressman had only one slot open ,but he also only had four people applying to the Air Force Academy. Does that mean all four of us are gaurnteed a nomination? Also, would i only be competing against those four for the first round of appointments (before national pool).

Yeah, you are all garaunteed a nomination (unless you screwed up the interview pretty badly). I'm pretty sure that you are only competing against those 3 others for the appointment to your congressmans one slot. If any of them has an LOA, they would not count against his slots.

haha, it was great to meet you too Patriot...today was almost kinda fun...nomination, joked around with the panel, missed school....sweet deal, eh? Oh yeah....two more RTBs have been born to the world!

RTB.getDeffinition();

sorry...bored in java class again. What does RTB mean?

RTB=Red Tagged (or Tag?) Bastards...Its just our class color.

RTB.getDeffinition().checkSpelling();
while(snippercr.inJavaClass())
{
snippercr.throwInSnow();
}

I'm bored. I have no desire to study for my finals.

Wish w = new Wish();
w.addWish(new Appointment());
w.addWish(snipper.setMedicalStatus("cleared"));
Reality r = new Reality();
r.getSnippersReality();

if(r.equals(w))
{
System.out.println("true");
}
else

System.out.println("false");

false
Press any key to continue...

Wow yall must be really bored.

I took Computer Science last year so at least I know what yall are saying.

Wow, that almost looks like it would work given that it is pseudo-code. That's hilarious...I'm in Java this year, so I also know what y'all are "saying."

Hopefully the terminal window will display a true statement soon. :)

Java rocks, looks like you'll all be validating Comp Sci, which is good, because from what I hear it's a worthless class. They don't even teach you a real language and I think they spend a lot of time on really basic stuff.

For someone who's signied up for comp. programming every year and recieved a notice that "the class is unavaliable because your the only person who signed up" what would be a good language to learn on? Java?

I love java. Its a awsome language. Object Orientated Programming is weird at first but once you get it, its really really easy to do just about anything with java.

C++ is another good language but not as OOP as java (i dont even know if C is OOP). I wanted to take Assembler but i cant fit it into my schedual. Its the ability to write directly to hardware, even program games for Game Boy and such cartridge based games.

Java rocks. So much fun to play with and talk with. Haha, such geekiness, I love it!

The only comp programming class at my school teaches VISUAL BASIC. It was so pointless...
