My rank is within top 5% in a class of approx. 500 students.

I do not know my GPA but here is a list of my classes and grades:

*FRESHMAN YEAR:
My freshman year I attended an EXTREMELY small charter school.
-Honors Geometry:A
-Honors Earth Environmental Science: A
-Honors World History: A
-Honors English I: B (I know, pathetic. I didn't take the class seriously and I obviously deserved the low grade which I received)
-Spanish I: A
-Health/PE: A
-Freshman Seminar: A

*SOPHOMORE YEAR
I transferred into a regular public school my sophomore year.
-Sports Medicine I: A
-Marketing: A
-Honors English II: A
-Honors Civics and Economics: A
-Honors Algebra II: A
-Honors Biology: A
-Spanish II: A
-Honors Engineering and Design: A

*JUNIOR YEAR
My junior year is definitely the year that I believed I became unique as a potential college applicant through my work with DECA. The following were my grades and classes:
-Honors US History: A
-AP US History: A (At my school, to take APUSH, you have to take Honors US as well)
-AP Government: A
-AP English III: A
-Marketing Advance Studies: A
-Honors Chemistry: B
-Honors Spanish III: A
-Honors Pre-Calculus: A

And the following is my schedule for my senior year:
-AP Calculus AB
-AP Earth Science
-AP Psychology
-AP English IV
-AP Spanish V (My teacher suggested I skip Spanish Four, I dont know if that would look good in an application or not)
-Honors Physics
-Honors Strategic Marketing
-Visual Arts I (I'm only taking Visual Arts because an art credit is required in order to become eligible in some school system honor or something)

I will be pouring my HEART out into all my essays and I will have good recommendations.
After touring Emory, if I like the campus enough, I plan on applying ED.
THANKS for reading and chancing :-D

I also work as a barista at a local coffee shop and I have around 150-200 hours of community service.

If you need financial aid don’t waste your time on NYU. They’re notoriously stingy with aid, you’ll end up with a lot of debt.

Yeah, I’ve gotten that a lot. Applying to NYU Stern is more of a challenge for me to see if I can get in. I most likely won’t be attending NYU even if I got in, but I just want to see if I have what it takes to make it.

bumpppppppppppp.

bump…,

anyone? ;/

OH and I’m also for sure applying to Wake Forest. I forgot to include that in my original post.

UNC if your in North Carolina, you should get in

What minority are you?

I’m Indian (South Asian).

Bump…

Emory Low Reach
UNC match if instate/low reach if oos
Georgetown low reach
NYU match/high match

Thanks

bump…

Georgetown is not a low reach lol. It’s a high reach. Unless you’re retaking your SATs? If not, NYU and Emory are reaches as well.

I dont think Georgetown and NYU are high reaches - the reason I’m applying to my school is because based on admission results from people I personally know who have been accepted into the school, I believe I’m fairly on track. I know Georgetown relies heavily on an interview, so its more of a toss up.
Nonetheless, I am retaking my SATs.
