I submitted my application to start my classes for this spring coming up on January. At the last minute, my mom couldn’t find her tax income papers when we were doing my financial aid application, so I guess I have to wait until next year when she gets her tax papers. The college sent me an email last week that they already submitted me for the spring classes. Since I can’t go because I need the money to help me in college, how do I cancel my admission to the college? Is there another way/ And will they accept me the next time I apply there? Sorry, I don’t really know that much about applying for college. I really wanted to start college already. This is stressing me out .
Have you talked to the school yet and explained your situation? They can probably offer you some guidance. I would think you can defer your admission so you don’t have to go through the application process again.
Your situation is confusing, but I will attempt to answer.
If you need aid for anytime this school yr, 16/17, and missed the 6/30/16 filing deadline for fafsa, you are out of luck.
I will assume you did fill out fafsa for this school yr and are being asked for tax verification by the school. They will either want you to log in to your fafsa and check the tax release box or they will want an official IRS transcript, both are easily done.
