<p>I have already filed my CSS but not my FAFSA. The school I'm applying to needs both by Feb 1st. I've been trying to file my FAFSA but I can't; something's wrong with the website. My question is, if the school sees that I've already successfully filed the CSS, will they accept the FAFSA after Feb 1st?</p>

<p>I can’t get in either, website is down, I just got the taxes form the accountant 40 minutes ago and I have till midnite too…
contacted web chat help on fafsa site…they said the fafsa website is currently unavailable, don’t know when it will be available, this is not a scheduled downtime, please try back periodically.</p>

<p>You might try emailing the financial aid offices of the colleges you are applying to. They may not be too strict about the deadline and will accept your applications late. I emailed Wellesley because we missed their ridiculously early deadline of January 15 and thought we were screwed. But the college said they would accept late apps. We filed January 28. So I recommend that you keep trying to file the apps. I am sure this happens every year.</p>
