Hurricane, what made USF change their mind about admitting you? How’d you turn a no into a yes?

how much money does the college provide if you are not one of those “fortunates”?

Depends on how much your parents make every year and whether you’re getting private scholarships.

@ as238gh, I’m so glad you put that in quotation marks lol .

oh okay thanx… but doesn’t it depend on your SAT/ACT test scores also?

@ maydayparade lol!!

No, it doesn’t. It depends on your parents’ income. They don’t care about your test scores.

oh if that is the case but still i haven’t got a penny from usf…i checked my oasis, there is nothing… :(

I called the fa office and the lady said they are still reviewing for people to get scholarships. Mine was just posted so maybe you’ll get something!

oh i just checked and ya i got some awards…

i hope of getting bright futures so that i don’t have to borrow loans!

If you graduated with the requirements and filled out all of the paperwork, then you’ll get it. It won’t pay for the percentage it says, but at least they’re paying something.

yes i have applied. i am hoping to get some.

btw if you have applied for one or more USF Foundation Scholarships, then does it show up if you are awarded in oasis? if yes, when?

You get a letter for every single one you receive, it shows up at around the first week of august.

oh i was thinking it would show up like right now in OASIS!!!

What are the chances of getting them?

Depends on what you qualify for. In fact, you should have gotten the letters before you had to fill out the fafsa.

what sort of letters?

You just get a letter from financial aid saying "congratulations [name], you have been awarded the [blah blah blah] scholarship.

i just applied for the some of the foundation scholarships, so i am thinking it might be a while since i get those letters.

You are automatically entered in those when you pay your admissions deposit…

i just paid the fees. is it too late??

I don’t really know, to be honest.
