got Berkeley supplemental info form- can I expect one from UCLA too?

today I got an email from Berkeley in which they asked me to fill out a supplementary info questionnaire & submit a letter of recommendation.

I'm definitely a borderline student so it makes sense. My extracurriculars, SAT scores, application essays, etc. were all great, but my GPA wasn't so great.

if I received this request from UCB, might I receive one from UCLA too?

It’s possible but looking around here on CC there have been tons of people who have gotten one from UCB and not from the other and vice versa.

They’re independent of each other. Most people don’t get both.

MSM1704. Congratulations!
Can you post your stats?

3.3 GPA… AWFUL, I know. There were outside factors that affected my GPA so I explained that in the additional comments section of my app.
2000 SAT
my essays were really really good, if I can say so!

UCLA is my real dream school  but of course I’m SO excited about this opportunity from Berkeley!

msma704, thank you.
You have a good SAT. You have a chance. Work hard on it.
Good Luck!

I received the supplement from both ucla and Berkeley last year and was accepted to both. I know my supplement played a huge part in that. Put A LOT of time into it because it is honestly an amazing opportunity to give the schools more information about you and your situation-don’t hold back. Good luck :)

buttafly13, that is a huge comfort to me. thank you!! do you mind sharing your stats?
