UCLA Supplemental Info

I just got sent an email asking for supplemental info from UCLA. Has anyone recently gotten this? Also, I saw some people got this email from Berkeley. I have not. Does this mean, at this point, that I'm more or less on the fringe for UCLA and not as close to being considered for Berkeley?

I believe there is another thread for this subject. Try searching for that for more info.

I got that email today as well. I'm kind of freaking out because I don't know what they want me to write about. The first of two questions I am supposed to answer are as follows:

"In your application you may have mentioned an extraordinary talent/skill or academic achievement. This may include participation in Junior Olympics, national debate competitions, recognition for musical talent, etc. Please take this opportunity to share with us more detailed information about the level of your achievement, depth of participation, and passion for this particular area."

Did you get this question as well? Did you say anything about an extraodianry achievement? Did they sent this to everyone? I wrote my essay about starting my own company, but I also listed some other significant achievements. I don't know which one they want me to elaborate on. If anyone has any advice, please share it!

sigh Fine.

There are, as far as I am aware, 3 different types of questionaires(sp?). They are usually sent to borderline applicants, trying to get more information about something you spoke of in your application. If you get one, that means that doing it well can only help your chances of getting into the school.

OP, do you mind posting some of your stats? I'm just wondering what a "borderline" applicant at UCLA is nowadays.

I'm not the OP, but I also got the letter. Stats:
