Got Deferred...What are my chances?

I know so many kids are probably doing this, but if someone who has either gotten into Tulane or has any admissions experience could take the time to look at this I would be very greatful.

GPA: 3.68 unweighted
Rank: #322 / 1482

SAT: Critical Reading 590
Math 600
Writing 630

ACT 26

All the classes I have taken since junior year have been IB, and I've taken an IB and AP exam in every single class.

I've been in a clinical rotation program where I spent 6 weeks in the Emergency Room, 6 weeks in a nursing home, and 6 weeks with a spinal surgeon.

I know my rank isn't where it should be and my SAT and ACT are low. I do have Asperger's Syndrome, a form of autism, and I've been told that does have an effect on grades.

I am eager to hear a reply.

If you went on pure stats your chances would be very iffy. Given your special circumstances, I know I am not qualified to ascertain how much they change, if at all. I have my doubts if anyone on CC is, but maybe. Perhaps your best course of action is to schedule a trip down there (especially if you have not visited yet) and make an appointment to talk to your admissions counselor while there. Where are you from?

Thanks for responding. I’m from Dallas and I have actually already visited Tulane. I wrote an email to my admission’s officer explaining my special circumstances already. I am kind of leery to send her anything else, as I don’t want to overload her with information

I’m also a full IB Diploma candidate. I don’t know if I already said that
