Got interviewed twice?!

Hi y'all, I've been stalking pretty much all of the discussions on this forum for the last 2 years, and now it's finally my turn :D/ So like every applicant, I had an interview two days ago, and it went well with a pretty relaxing conversation that lasted about an hour sharp. Then when I got back home, I sent a thank you note to my interviewer like I should and was relieved that I could finally wait for the results. But then in the following morning, I got an email from another interviewer from the committee notifying that we should meet for a follow-up on the previous interview (because "he was curious"?), even though this one is not necessary. The interview was also super, much to my delight.

But isn't it strange that I got interviewed twice? Does it hurt my chance? Does anyone on the forum has insights on this or has the same case? I'm so confused right now.

Yes, it’s strange
I don’t think it hurts your chances
I doubt anyone has much valuable insight on this

Are you positive this is a legit interviewer?

Yes he was legit because the first interviewer sent me an email and the format was like the one that Princeton first sent me

but doesn’t Princeton send you a notification email first?
Did you get two notification emails?

Hmm I agree with @binatang. This situation seems rather strange, but I doubt it’ll hurt your chances! Was your second interviewer also an alumni interviewer from your region?

Yes he is because I know a friend who was interviewed by him
