<p>I got my invitation to UCB regents on 2/20 (Instead of 2/10 when everyone else got it). Does this mean anything? None of my friends got it on this day, so it seems very odd to me that I would get it late. I heard a rumor that there is a "second-tier" pile for some people; is that true?</p>
<p>I was fairly certain all of the invites went out in one wave. Are you sure this is Regents and not one of the other various scholarships?</p>

<p>Maybe reply and check if it’s legit. For the first wave, we got three emails because there was a server error, and then a fourth because they sent the date out wrong.</p>

<p>My son got an email today that he has been selected for Regents’ and Chancellor’s Scholarship.<br>

The email reads as follows:
Congratulations! You have been selected to interview for the Regents’ and Chancellor’s Scholarship. Based on your outstanding academic record and leadership potential, faculty members are eager to speak with you about the benefits of attending one of the preeminent universities in the world, the University of California, Berkeley. You will be receiving soon the informational packet via USPS in the next few days.</p>

<p>Today 2/26, I got an email from UCB, that I have been selected for Regents’ and Chancellor’s Scholarship. 
I am so happy. :)</p>

<p>I got my email on 2/26 as well…I quickly requested an interview and had just received a reply back confirming my time, so I believe us late-receivers got something legitimate.</p>
