I got my report card today, my grades were as following: Unweighted: Chem - 65 English - 85, APUSH - 87, French IV - 92, Math - 79, Latin I - 74, Social Justice - 89 and GYM - 95. Weighted: Chem - 68, English - 88, APUSH - 94, French IV - 100, Math - 84 and Latin -74, Social Justice - 89 and Gym - 95. So my unweighted average is an 85. and my weighted average is an 88. I don't know if thats a 2.8 or a 3.8, probably a 2.8. The colleges I am interested in applying to are: Villanova, Boston College (dream school), skidmore, Tulaine, UWisconsion - Madison. Those are like my reaches. I had about a 94 weighted average last year. The reason why my grades are low is because I don't do my Homework, plus I had varsity soccer for 3 + hours a day after school. My guidance counselor told me I will most likely score above 2000. I had a 630 on my World history SAT II which I am retaking along with U.S., Bio and French.

Well I'm sure if your previous grades are great, then you'll be fine.
Also if your ECs/Awards/Essays are good, then you shouldn't have to worry too much.

I'm sure my essays and recs will be really good. I got the history award last year and I'll probably get MVP for Varsity Softball.

okay sounds good.
This sounds lame, but don't stress about what's already done.
Just try to concentrate on what you can do for the future like your essays, etc.
haha wow that DID sound lame.

hmmm, is that a grade slip or consistent with your past performance?

If your scores are good that should help a lot, and your ECs will help too.. you can bring it up so I wouldn't worry too much!
(I know this is nit picky but it really bothers me that you spelled Tulane with and "i", I know... I need get a life..)
Best of luck!!!

Who cares about first quarter anyway? Based on your classes, you appear to be a junior, which means that you will have three more quarters, plus finals, to bring up your grades. Don't worry about what happened. Spend that time thinking about the future. (I know that sounded even lamer than ohh miss zanna).
